It’s been a long time between updates, however Walk the Talk has finally reached the Red Lily Health Board in Jabiru, NT.

The Red Lily Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (RLHB) was formed in 2011 to empower Aboriginal peoples of the West Arnhem region in addressing their health issues by providing leadership and governance in the development of quality, effective primary health care services.

RLHB is directly responsible for the Jabiru Public Health Team, as well as Minjilang and Warruwi Health Centres. Amongst their achievements through their health centres, RLHB has demonstrated:

  • lower than NT average childhood anaemia rates;
  • higher than NT average childhood immunisation rates; and
  • higher than NT average clients on a chronic disease management plan.

RLHB continues to work towards rejuvenating the West Arnham region by improving health and empowering its peoples.
